There s enormous amount of material you have to get familiar with in order to become a descent knitter. For this purpose you have to learn multiple stitches and beginner project in order to become fluent in your working process. Reading charts and patterns, knowing abbreviations is essential for you progress. You have to be able to read them as a musician reads chords and plays the music while reading.
